SMSC and Career Opportunities
What is SMSC?
SMSC stands for spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. All schools in England must show how well their pupils develop in SMSC.
At Snettisham Primary School SMSC is developed in the following way:

In addition, we promote Career opportunities linked to the Gatsby Benchmarks. This is vital to our community as we believe that our context is rural, isolated with higher disadvantage than national averages. Increasing potential opportunities, broadening horizons and skills to raise aspirations is an important part of our school values. Career opportunities are embedded into the curriculum to enhance our pupils' and families' resilience, confidence and aspiration.
