From assault courses to ziplines, pupils from our school rose to the challenge when they enjoyed three days of adventure at Hilltop Outdoor Centre.

The 21 Year 5 and 6 children from Snettisham Primary also participated in a series of team activities during the residential trip.

Our Assistant Headteacher, Ellie Jones, was proud of the group’s achievements.

“While the pupils were there, they were encouraged to follow the Hilltop motto and ‘challenge by choice’,” she said. “They took part in activities such as high ropes, Big Zipper zipline, assault course, crate stacking, team challenges, and the Big Swing.

“In the evening, they also had excellent activities in the surrounding woodland, and were able to swim in the outdoor pool in the beautiful weather they enjoyed while they were there.”

The trip is organised every other year by our school, which is part of the West Norfolk Academies Trust.

Mrs Jones added: “These trips take place every two years to ensure all pupils get the opportunity to have this experience.

“Residentials provide an amazing opportunity for pupils to develop their confidence, independence, and relationships with one another. They make memories to last a lifetime.”
